Stranded

I remember reading a book about passengers at an airport (JFK, if my memory serves me right) who are caught in a terrible snowstorm and are cut off from the rest of the city/world. Something in my brains say’s it was an Indian author. Not Tharoor…. or is it? Lemme find that out.

P.S: Might be routed through London now.

columbus – musings from the airport

A person very close (and dear) to me say’s that it has to be black or white with me. What she means is I have two reactions, and they do not face each other. North Pole, South Pole. She says that my “either I love something or I loathe something” attitude is detrimental not just to self but others too.

Well here’s the thing, I say it as a I see it. If something catches my eye and tugs at my heartstrings, then it’s in. If it makes me put my hands squarely on my hips and in a gay”ish” tone say aloud”hmmm, well, at least it comes in the right color”, out!

No “mmm, kinda” or “OK, will do”. I love it.

Gotta go, flight just got announced, O Hare not happening, been rerouted through to Dulles. Hope I make the connecting flight to Frankfurt.

I hate it
